MBS Corps
Who are we?
The MBS Corps is the Maine Business School’s community outreach organization.
What do we do and why?
Our mission is to give back to our community by volunteering in different organizations and helping with our expertise, knowledge, and time. Our current list of organizations is shown below.
Please join us for a walk/run.... the MBS Corps has challenged the UMaine Athletic Dept to a friendly competition in the Suan G. Komen Race for the Cure: Sunday, September 20th! With your help, we can win this competition to help in the fight against cancer! Please see our web page.

Current Activities:
Bangor Humane Society: We are working on fund-raising events to help support the many animals that are being dropped off due to the economic crisis. You are also always welcome to volunteer at the shelter working with the animals.
Bangor Troop Greeters: Join us at the Bangor Intl Airport to greet troops as they prepare to leave for Iraq or Afghanistan or welcome them back home... just a simple act of kindness goes a long way!
Habitat for Humanity: The UMaine Habitat for Humanity group represents students from across the University who have created a consortium to help local people with decent, affordable housing. They have just completed a "sleep-out" where they raised money by sleeping outside for 3 nights to raise awareness of homelessness. They also just completed a concert to raise money for Habitat and are currently working with a consortium of different groups across campus to increase awareness of community outreach.
Spruce Run: Contact us for training or volunteer to prevent domestice violence!
